In the heart of the city there is nothing but noise. It's loudest during the night. It blankets the beautiful twinkle of the sky. It hides the beauty and wonderment of the heavens. A desire within to escape it. To simply go far into the wilderness and search for quietness. A quest for silence stirs the soul. Traveling for hours until the noise slowly fades behind. Then the noise stops. The splendor of the heavens burst like a firework in the sky. Thousands of diamonds thrown across a black blanket. Sparkling and shining in brilliance. The sky is full of new noise. Beautiful, magnificent noise.

Wow! You had captured my attention completely by the opening sentence. What a beautifully crafted piece of work. This is thoughtful, imaginative and very evocative - stunning! I think that this is the best 100WC I have ever read. Jane Team 100WC
